A BLOG is always a place of some Info/News/Article or anything you want to tell he people about. So i someone visits a blog he/she is not comfortable with first of all READING all the stuff at your blog, or searching all of your blog to find relevant stuff. So a BLOG must be designed/moded in such a way that one single view of a blog could tell each & every stuff listed on your blog. That`s a better way of locating interested posts at a glance.

for example, i love GAMES (PC Games), i can visit a BLOG`s homepage and i am not interested in searching for selected games in that blog, so if all the stuff is at homepage, then it will be more comfortable & interesting for me to locate my relevant stuff.

Best approach for making your posts compressed at homepage, is “read more” hack for a blog, its just an addition of some HTML tags (code) which shows some summary of a post on homepage, n read more link at the bottom of every post, after clicking read more link complete post can be viewed. This is a  good way of minimizing Page CTR also, transferring from homepage to a link page.

Another way is of using 3rd party Blog templates, which allows u to make a blog “Tab Viewed” Blog, means 2-3 columns customization, link bar customization, & so on ….

you can try these templates here :

Another great approach is of placing Google ads, color combination of ads, size of ads, for better view of ads on a blog, ads must be colored same as the background of a blog is, like if background is white, ads background must also be colored white so it should appear same as the post.

& there should not be thousands of ads on a page, few ads makes space beautiful.

Just try to optimize your blog in such a way that it can be viewed on a single page rather then browsing all the extra loaded pages.
