I am in the childcare industry. If you know anything about this industry you know that it can and is a revolving door. Parents can be the best for a time and then turn into Satan. In this industry there are a lot of rules that the state require us to follow. Most centers do not follow. However we are one of maybe a few to none that will adhere to every policy. We are considered rude, unprofessional and all of the things they are calling us applies to them. We have given discounts on tuition, waived late fees, given rides when their cars break down and it is not appreciated. The bottom line is: the only time our parents have a problem with us is when we enforce policies and expect money on time. We do however turn our parents over to collections, and take them to small claims court in regards to any money owed. We have never had an allegation of abuse or neglect of a child. Yet we get slammed online for simply expecting our money.
